DocSelect launched in Nottingham in 2025. Created by a team of dedicated local GPs, DocSelect aims to provide professional, local healthcare by offering private GP home visits and virtual consultations from 7am to 11pm every day of the week. Whether it's an in-hours or out-of-hours doctor you need, we can help.
Our team of experienced local GPs have the skill set and knowledge to provide diligent and patient-centred care right to your door. As local GPs, we appreciate how difficult it can be to access services especially when you or your loved ones are unwell and need an urgent doctor's appointment. Our teams of fully qualified and experienced GPs include male and female doctors with a wide range of clinical interests, including joint injections and weight management.
This is often a question we get asked. Sometimes a virtual consultation can be really helpful, for those times you are on the go or need a follow up with a GP you have already seen. However, we believe there is nothing better than a GP home visit - face-to-face expert medical care directly to your front door.
DocSelect provides a private GP service. Our goal is to complement the care you receive from your NHS GP, offering a convenient service designed to fit your schedule. We always recommend your DocSelect records are shared with your NHS GP to ensure they are updated with the care you have received. You can also update any healthcare professionals yourself as your notes are accessible on the app.
As GPs working within the NHS, we deeply value this precious service. However, due to growing pressures on services and accessibility, we've observed a shift towards private healthcare. Our goal is to provide high-quality private GP care, delivered by trusted local doctors.
As GPs we enjoy seeing a variety of conditions and different patients, from young children to those elderly relatives who need checking over. We also offer weight management services, health screening and steroid joint injections. There are some things that are best managed by your NHS GP or emergency services so please review our FAQ’s for more information on these.
We are able to refer onwards to specialists if needed or arrange for further tests or investigations. You can then book a follow up appointment with one of our private GPs of your choice.
If you require medication, our private doctors can arrange this and you will receive the QR code which can be used at any pharmacy. Alternatively, you can have your treatment delivered directly to your home within 24 hours.
Our services start from £45 for an online consultation or £90 for a private GP home visit. We also offer subscription-based services which provide the highest value for money by allowing patients and their families to access multiple appointments in the most cost effective way possible.
Our aim is to provide you with a high value service for the price.
Further tests and medication do have their own separate fees.
