DocSelect is a platform that connects patients seeking private GP appointments with local, fully qualified GPs. It allows doctors to create engaging profiles, set their own fees and manage bookings for private consultations, supplementing their NHS income without the burden of setting up a private clinic.
You can sign up today via the app's website or by downloading the app. After uploading a few crucial documents and mandatory training (the majority of which you will already have) you will be ready to start seeing patients. All GPs need to be on the Performers List and in good standing with the GMC.
You will need a standard doctor's home visit bag, including a stethoscope, pulse oximeter, BP machine, BM machine, urine dip, peak flow, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, and thermometer. You will not be expected to carry drugs, airways, defibs, or oxygen. In case of a medical emergency, 999 should be called.
Yes, DocSelect allows you to offer both online and face-to-face consultations, adapting to the needs of your patients and providing more local face-to-face options. The DocSelect app allows you to create all your notes and records on the app and even allows you to generate referral letters and fit notes.
